Symphony Talent’s next-generation analytics platform, powered by Sigma Computing, delivers advanced data visualization and highlights the key insights users need. Designed with talent acquisition teams in mind, SFX Insights features dynamic widgets and drill-down capabilities that empower users to access granular data with ease, something previously unattainable with the old analytics dashboards. Key dashboards include Funnel Performance, User Insights, Talent Network, Contact Messages, Career Website, Referrals, Events, and Assessments.

THE CHALLENGE
The previous analytics platform had significant limitations:
Static Dashboards: Users could only view summary-level data without the ability to explore underlying details.
Lack of Interactivity: No dynamic features to adjust filters or personalize views and no micro-animations.
Cluttered UI: The interface and poor navigation made it difficult for users to quickly find the data they need.
Disconnected Metrics: Data silos required users to cross-reference multiple tools for comprehensive reporting.
OBJECTIVE
Enhance the usability and effectiveness of their analytics dashboards by including all new data visualization, improving accessibility, and aligning insights with user needs, enabling faster, data-driven decision-making and a seamless user experience.
PROCESS
1. Research & Discovery
Conducted user interviews with HR professionals to understand their reporting needs and frustrations with the old reports.
Analyzed the types of insights most valuable to talent acquisition teams, focusing on usability and business impact.
Researched leading analytics platforms to gather inspiration for best practices.
2. Designing the Dashboards
Dynamic Widgets: Based on the available widgets in Sigma, designed customizable widgets for all the dashboards, enabling users to toggle views, apply filters, and rearrange data layouts.
Drill-Down Capability: Enabled drill-down capability, allowing users to click on data points to explore the underlying details, creating transparency and deeper insights.
Modular Dashboard Layouts: Ensured dashboards could scale to display large sets of data without overwhelming users.
3. Built a New Design System
Developed a Figma-based design system with reusable components, typography, and color guidelines.
Ensured the system supported scalability for future feature updates.
4. Prototyping & Testing
Built interactive prototypes for core dashboards in Figma.
Conducted usability testing sessions with key Beta users to identify friction points and refine features.
Iterated designs to improve discoverability, interactivity, and user satisfaction.
5. Implementation Support
